Car rental is cost-effective and readily available in Saudi Arabia. Affordable fuel prices and well-maintained roads and highways that connect the major cities in Saudi Arabia make driving to AlUla an enjoyable experience.

International drivers should carry a valid driving licence from their country of residence; an international driving permit is also highly recommended.

AlUla is a three-hour drive from both Medina to the south and Tabuk to the north. Both cities have several rental-car companies to choose from.
