Any conversation about Ashar Valley must begin with Maraya, the astonishing piece of architecture that tricks the eye and then seduces it. Translating as ‘mirror’ in Arabic, Maraya is the world’s largest mirrored structure and has become an icon of AlUla, hosting art exhibitions, star-studded concerts, and providing chef Jason Atherton a place to present his fine dining dishes.
