Looking back at AlUla Tour 2024

Five days of elite sporting competition played out in front of some of AlUla's most iconic landmarks, AlUla Tour 2024 was a huge success for all involved - especially winner Simon Yates for Team Jayco AlUla - and ultimately set the tone for a long and illustrious future for the race.

AlUla's jagged terrain, expansive flat roads and wintery conditions made for the perfect competition as some of the world's best riders took their season to new heights.

The route went past such stunning locations as Sharaan Nature Reserve, Maraya, Hegra, Old Town, and finished at Skyviews Of Harrat Uwayrid.

The 2024 edition of the tour took place within a few days of AlUla receiving the prestigious 'Arab Bike City Award' from the Arab Cycling Federation, and so the event proved another feather in the cap of the destination.

Fans lined the streets where they good, global TV cameras broadcast the action around the world, and riders paid tribute to the excellent event organization.
