The sun can be strong during midday, so we suggest relaxing by a pool. The early afternoon starts to cool down, great for tours. By the evening, the stars come out, and the weather is perfect for outdoor dining.

Both Dubai and Doha have several flights per week, with flydubai and Qatar Airways. Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam all have several options during the week with Saudia and flynas. Alternatively, Tabuk and Madinah airports – both serviced by international airlines – are both within a four-hour drive of AlUla.

Yes, AlUla offers serene locales for remote work. You can choose from luxurious hotels providing the ultimate backdrop for productivity or a number of cozy cafes in AlJadidah. Enjoy the tranquility of AlUla's landscapes while staying productive during your stay.

In the height of the summer months, temperatures can reach upwards of 40°C (104°F), but can dip down to 25°C (76°F ) at night. AlUla is know for it's low humidity, which means that while temperatures can be high, it is a dry heat. We recommend dressing in loose linen or quick-dry clothing, with a light layer for night. Women do not need to wear a headcover or an abaya.

We know that staying hydrated in the summer is important. All of the Visitor's Centres in AlUla provide water and restaurants and cafes around town offer great selections of fresh juices to quench your thirst. If you're planning to go hiking, we suggest to bring a bigger water bottle and electrolytes for extra hydration. Make sure you also bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
